Today, an official visit was made by a delegation of Qingdao (PRC) chaired by Vice Mayor Liu Jianjun together with representatives of the Chinese Center for Technology Transfer of the SCO Member States in Astana.
Qingdao is a major economic center of China. The production facilities of many large companies and representative offices of international firms are located here, advanced technologies are concentrated, and the innovation sphere is actively developing.
The China Technology Transfer Center of the Member States was established under the Shanghai Cooperation Organization at the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the PRC in 2020. Its goal is to actively promote international technology transfer and jointly look for new drivers of economic growth after the creation of the center. The main task is to provide a platform for expanding the channels of multilateral international cooperation in the fields of technology, science, culture, economics, and trade.
As part of this event, the official signing of the “Roadmap” between the China Center for Technology Transfer of the SCO Member States and “NAID “QazInnovations” JSC to implement the activities of the innovative service platform to expand the channels of international cooperation.
Within the framework of this roadmap, it is planned to jointly create a platform for international cooperation and develop cooperation with science and technology parks in the form of promoting investment, innovation, and entrepreneurship, as well as trade cooperation, assistance in the development of innovative technologies and their introduction to the markets of the SCO countries, the participation of Kazakhstani startups and start-up companies in the international business incubator of the SCO Technology Transfer Center.
